Monaco is officially the Principality with the Prince Albert II as the head of the state. This city is densely populated and is the smallest French speaking country in the European continent.

Prince’s Palace
MonacoThe Prince’s Palace is one the top tourist spots in Monaco. The palace is built during the 13th century by the Genoese and has served as the home for the Prince of Monaco since that time. This palace is open to public when the Prince is away. You can look at the rooms and the courtyard which is made with over a 3 million pebbles to form beautiful patterns.

Monaco Cathedral

The Monaco Cathedral, located in rue Colonel Bellando de Castro. It was built in 1875. It stands on the site of a 13th century church. This is the resting place of the Monaco princes and Grace Kelly, who was one of the most loved person. Many festivals are celebrated here.

Salle Garnier

The Salle Garnier Opera House in Monaco also called as the MC Opera House. Charles Garnier has also built the Paris Opera House and the MC Casino. This is a well known and beautiful opera houses. This Opera house has hosted many international performances and concerts. This is must-see place in Monaco.

Exotic Garden

The Exotic Garden in Monaco was opened in 1933, after a work of 20 years. This extraordinary garden has a wide range of cacti in strange and amazing shapes. It is located on the cliff, which helps the rain water runoff very easy. With all the climatic features and other influences, it enables the development of over 7000 varieties of succulent plants.

Napoleon Museum

The Napoleon Museum in Monaco has also been a famous tourist place, where you can find all the memorabilia of Napoleon I. This museum is located as a part of the Prince Palace. This museum has a collection of Napoleon’s personal belongings and the documents from the first Empire. It also has a huge collection of stamps, which makes it interesting for many visitors.
