How To Set Up A Website using GoDaddy!
Setting up a website is not that hard to do. There are so many different reliable websites that provide services for web designing, domain registering and web hosting. Using a reliable Web Host and Domain Registrar site is a must!
www.GoDaddy.com is one of the biggest website registering company out there, it’s really easy to register and set up domains, web hosting for your first site.
Two things that you would definitely need before entering this website are a computer with Internet access and any form of online payment. We would recommend that you use Paypal.
1. Creating a website.
It could be a really tedious process to create a website using HTML. Thank god for the web creation tools that is readily available at GoDaddy. But do remember to have a general idea on how you want your website to look like at the end of the day, and how large you want it to be. There are also different plans available depending on how long you want GoDadddy to host your website as well.
You can go to the ‘Site Builders’ at the main page of GoDaddy and click on ‘My Website Account’ which will take you to a place for you to sign up with GoDadddy. After Signing up for it, pay for whatever you have chosen and proceed on to creating your website.
From her on out, you can create your website to your liking by using the ‘Website Tonight’ which is GoDaddy’s web creation tool.
2. Creating a Domain/Web Hosting.
Click on the ‘Hosting and Servers’ menu and choose ‘Hosting Plans’. From there you can read up more on the various types of hosting plans available. You can then choose the platform that you are currently using, be it Windows or Linux. After you are done with that, you can proceed to the GoDaddy’s homepage and set up your domain hosting account. Go to the ‘Hosting Servers’ tab again and choose ‘My Hosting Options’ from there, and click on the link ‘Setup a New Account’.
You will have to complete the registration here and choose the type of membership that you want and purchase it through the payment mode of your choice and you are done. Bear in mind that it will take maybe another 48 hours for site to be up and running.
After all the set up, just go through your website and check and make sure that it is running smoothly. And don’t forget to give GoDaddy some time to create your account. Don’t expect for your web page and domain to be created immediately.
