NASCAR: racing back the track

Every man in the US seems to be hungry for motor sport blood-racing events and National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) feed them with what they need.

Over 75 million fans watched the sport and an unbelievable $3 billion yearly are purchased by each enthusiast due to advertisements and they are known to be very loyal for each brand. The “brand-loyal” attitude of each fan pushes more and more companies to advertise their products in NASCAR.

Due to increasing fans of the motor sport, more and more sponsors lay down their money for the success of the annual race.

Currently, NASCAR made races in 39 states for over 1,500 tournaments over 100 tracks. However, the stock car auto racing in the US did not have a good start. It was said to have started as a way to run from police or drivers who speed up their car to distribute bootleg whiskey, prohibited liquor.

The bootlegging is the term used for drivers who use small yet fast cars in dealing out bootleg whiskey in the county without being caught by the authorities.

However, it was Daytona Beach in 1920 and 1930, where real racing was formed. Most race car drivers and fans watch and drive all the way to Daytona just to witness the racing events in its beach road course.
